Tisza Zoltán beszámolója a versenyről
The race was good and bad! I got 2 points, so that is good! The really bad was, my friend was at the team manager's meeting, and he got confused by another race what starting time had changed from 12 to 3pm, and it was announced during the meeting.
So he though the world cup is gonna start at 3pm, so I just start to do an easy spinning on the trainer, when he comes, everyone at the start line already, so I didn't warmed up. Actually, I should feel lucky to not miss the start. I just got there 2 min before the start, and I didn't have the sensor on my leg. I put it around my ankle very quickly and I had a minute to start. I went out ok, but when we hit the off road, couple of guys went down, and I couldn't stop either.
I hit the ground, and got up as soon as I could, and try to catch back. Everyone was gone, except I was able to catch a Slovakian rider, and we rode couple of second from each other. The course was super slippery, and even I used 1.8 BAR, 28-30PSI, I fall two times. But I was even the leaders had some problem here and there. I couldn't really push at without warmed up, I was just going a tempo what was far from my best, and I didn't even feel tired when I got lapped.
I got a 49th place, so at least I got 2 points, and the UCI official made a mistake, because I passed the Slovakian rider, but I didn't really care after I saw the result. I was just so upset, to making this kind of mistake, and doing all the efforts to be there, and I almost missed the start. This race was a complete disaster!
I know all of us had these kind of experience in the past, and cycling and anybody who ever raced, goes over these kind of stuff during his/her sport career. The most important thing, these kind of mistake can't bring you down, it happens but we need to get over on these and keep getting up mentally and physically!
